Well before I start this I just have to say this is not happening as well as I know this is just my idea.

I was recently reading on Wired about the woes of Netflix and the post office. Being a big fan of Netflix and always wanting to get the DVDs turned even faster (well in theory I have had some movies now for about 2 months) I thought why not have Netflix and Starbucks combine? Huh this makes no sense all but it does. My idea would be that you can return your movies to your local Starbucks. The Starbucks then scans it and allows your next DVD to be sent out to you. The movies are then collected and shipped in bulk back to the local Netflix center.

Why Starbucks? Well I don’t think I need to answer that question but I will there is one on every street corner. It seems like there are more of those than mailboxes. I have to figure that there are more Starbucks in the US than Blockbuster Videos.

How would Starbucks benefit? Come on your telling me you would go into Starbucks and not buy something? Win-Win. Heck put a coupon on the Netflix envelope for a discounted coffee.

So Starbucks and Netflix listen up this is a great idea so contact me and I will help you out. There is the rumor of Apple starting up there digital rental service.
